To maximize plant growth, the pH of your aquaponic fish tank water should be 6.8 - 7.0. pH can reach unacceptably low levels as a natural result of the biological processes occurring in your aquaponics system.
pH Up: Base formulated using Potassium Hydroxide and Potassium Carbonate. It is plant and fish safe, but very concentrated!
- Just add a little at a time, circulate the water, then retest. It is easier to add more than subtract
- Only adjust your pH 2/10 of a point in a day. More than this is stressful to your fish.
