pH Down - 8 oz.
To maximize plant growth, the pH of your aquaponic fish tank water should be 6.8 - 7.0. pH can reach unacceptably high levels when high pH water is added, pH unstable media, such as rock wool and granite gravel products, are used,
or an anaerobic zone develops in your grow bed.
pH Down: Acid formulated using food grade Phosphoric acid. It is plant and fish safe, but very concentrated!
- Just add a little at a time, circulate the water, then retest. It is easier to add more than subtract
- Only adjust your pH 2/10 of a point in a day. More than this is stressful to your fish.
