This may seem like an usual choice for a store that sells products for soilless gardening, but then I heard author Jeff Lowenfels speak on the topic. I was instantly struck by how relevant this is to aquaponics, especially media based aquaponics. This wonderful little book takes you on a journey through the fascinating symbiosis between plants and their microbial, bacterial, fungal and worm partners - including nitrifying bateria. Any aquaponic gardener can learn so much from this gem of a book about what is going on inside their grow beds. Excellent for those who want to dig deeper!
